Plot: The Japanese government was rescued from the brink of financial collapse by the Sovereign Wealth Fund. For its citizens, however, life has not improved, and unemployment, crime, suicide, and despair are rampant.

Kimimaro, raised by his maternal grandmother after the disappearance of his father and the death of his mother, is a scholarship student whose only dream is to avoid all this and live a stable life. One day, however, he meets a man who offers him a large sum of money if he’ll agree to pay it back. From then on his fate is radically altered as he’s drawn into a mysterious realm known as “The Financial District.”

First impression: The story didn’t drag me in as it’s very different from what I’m used to watch. I do believe it has potential to be good if the battles are well made.

PS3 Folklore

The game I’ve been playing casually lately is Folklore for PS3, and it’s a mixture of action & RNG. I’ve been playing the female protagonist and while I found her intro lame the gameplay itself is entertaining. I have always enjoyed unique / odd / genuine things so this fit me perfectly.

I’m still at the beginning of the story so I can’t really say how good the game is, but it seems to have gotten good scores overall. It really reminds me of the PS2 game Okami and the WoW machinima Among Fables and Men.

Once again I get addicted to a Korean pop song, this time it’s Kahi/Gahee from the korean girl group After School (where she’s also the leader). I can’t say I’ve ever been a fan but this song really got to me, catchy. ^^

My card got activated back in March but had a retarded sick spree, so only started training last week. But I’ve decided to push for it, so I have to keep my spirits up!

I’m currently fighting my “WTB”-gene… haha, if there is such a thing.
